A massive well done to all the students who participated in the annual Coláiste Na Trócaire Primary School Hurling Blitz 2016.St Joseph’s Boys National School Rathkeale, Ballingarry National School, Shountrade National School, Scoil Naomh Iosaf Adare, Kilfinny National School, Croagh National School, Ardagh National School.
High skill levels, teamwork and sportsmanship were evident from all participating schools which was great to see and testament to the work being carried out by players and teachers during the year. Ballingarry National School eventually lifted the Pat Butler Cup after defeating Scoil Naomh Iosaf Adare by a single point in the final and Croagh National School beat Kilfinny National School by a narrow margin in the Shield decider.
Thanks to Mr McMahon and Mr Noonan for organising the event and all staff who helped on the day. A big thank you to the Transition Year students who helped with refereeing, umpiring, catering, photography and everything else that needed doing.
