Scholarships
Congratulations to Grainne Curtin and Marielle Moran who have been awarded Excellence Scholarships to University College Galway based on their Leaving Certificate results. Dr Jim Browne will make the presentations to the girls on Thursday next in the Bailey Allen Hall (UCG). We wish both girls well in their chosen fields of study. Congratulations also to Jennifer Condon (Fifth Year) who has been selected as a high achiever in Maths and Science in the 2012 Junior Certificate Examinations.
Open Day
There will be an Open Day at Colaiste na Trocaire on Saturday 20th October between 11 am and 2pm. The Principal’s address will be given at 11 am and all parents of parents/guardians of 5th and 6th class pupils are invited to attend.
Third Level Colleges
On Friday last all Leaving Certificate students attended an Open day in Limerick Colleges of Education, MIC, UL and LIT. They were accompanied by Ms Niamh Harrison and Ms Aoife Kearney.
