First Year pupils had their Retreat on Friday 14th September. They visited the sacred sites in the locality of Rathkeale which include the Methodist church, Church of Ireland, Franciscan Abbey, the Catholic church and the Famine Graveyard. These visits form part of the course work of the Religious Education Programme for Junior Certificate. Our School Chaplain Fr. Tim Curtin organised the Retreat.
Sports
The Sporting year got off to a great start as West Limerick Colleges had a win in the first round of the Harty Cup championship defeating Abbey CBS, Tipperary last Wednesday. The match was played in Kilmallock and the final score was 1.17 to 1.13 Our Junior hurlers also had a win over Thurles CBS on Thursday last, this match was played in Murroe and the final score was 3.13 to 5 points.
