Leaving Certificate Applied students attended a College Placement in the Limerick College of Further Education (LCFE) from Tuesday 14th - 16th February 2017. Students gained experience in the School of Business & Information Technology, School of Childcare & Healthcare, School of Beauty & Hair, School of Creative & Visual Arts and School of Sports, Science & Engineering and obtained a Certificate of Completion on the final day. It gave the students all have an opportunity to examine a potential career option, or attending the Limerick College of Further Education after completing Leaving Certificate Applied. The College courses have a full FETAC award. The College has links with such colleges as the Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT), Mary Immaculate College (Mary I) University of Limerick (UL) and University College Cork (UCC). It gives students the option of progressing after completing a course.
