Leaving Cert Results will be issued on Tuesday 13th August, with CAO Round 1 offers arriving on Friday 16th August. This means that for the first time, students will get their Leaving Cert results and their round one offers in the one week. This will also allow for earlier appeals outcomes, with third-level colleges all in agreement that first year undergraduate courses will not begin before the second week in September and thus ensuring that most students who successfully appeal a Leaving Cert result will not be at a disadvantage by starting their course later than any other student.
