A group of thirteen second year students took part in the annual Poetry Speaking regional competition which was held in the Ursuline Convent Blackrock Cork last Tuesday. Each student were required to recite two poems before an audience and an adjudicating panel. The competition is organised by Poetry Ireland and the National Library of Ireland.
Congratulations to Aoife Murphy who was selected to go forward to the of semi-final of the competition which will take place in Dublin in November, we wish her every success.
