In April 2015 a tree was planted in the school grounds to honour the memory of Stuart Murphy who died last October. His class mates and the Student Council members held a short prayer service as part of the tree planting ceremony. The Student Council would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this event possible. A colours day was held in the school to cover the cost of the tree planting and the remainder of the funds were donated to Cancer Research Ireland.
