Corn De Buitléir Coláiste na Trócaire
The annual Corn de Buitléir Primary School’s Hurling Blitz took place in Coláiste na Trócaire on Friday May 9th. This is a competition where the local Primary Schools and their teachers are invited to the school to take part in a Hurling Blitz. This year 8 primary schools took part in this day-long event, and on the day we were blessed with brilliant sunshine. Adare N.S were the team to take home the Corn de Buitleir when they defeated Ballingarry in an entertaining match. Two teams fought it out for the Colaiste na Trócaire Shield Shountrade and Croagh, in the end the Shield went to Shountrade N.S.
